Teenmag: Not too long ago, you guys switched to Hollywood Records from a different label. What kind of influence will the change in record companies have on your music?
NICK: I don't think the music will change too much, just our songs. It's mostly us writing this record, and it's such an awesome experience that we get to take part in the writing process and some of the production! And we're really more involved than we were before, and it's a great thing for us. All around, it's the same deal. We're trying to keep making fun music and keep making it positive.
How is the new record coming along? It's due out August 7, right?
KEVIN: It's been going really well. We're 13 songs in, and we're recording 15 songs so that we can narrow it down a little bit. We can't wait to share them with everyone.
What is your favorite part of being in the studio?
KEVIN: We're playing a lot of instruments and we're just hanging out and pulling up iTunes and listening to other songs that we'd like to consider. And there's a basketball court in here so we play a lot of HORSE.
What was it like recording your single, "Kids of the Future"?
KEVIN: It was really cool and fun to work on the song.
NICK: "Kids of the Future" was actually the first project we worked on with Hollywood Records, so it was a great starting point for the launch of everything.
And, the video for it debuted on Disney Channel's Cory last week! It features the cool upcoming animated film Meet the Robinsons! What was it like to shoot the video?
KEVIN: That was an amazing video to shoot. We had so much fun with it and we couldn't wait for everybody to see It.
JOE: It was cool because we shot the whole thing in front of a green screen and they added the futuristic things behind us [later].
When was the first time that you felt like you finally made it in the music business?
NICK: We're still always working at it and we don't feel like famous people. It's really important to stay humble and to keep a level head. But it was exciting for us when we were number one three weeks in a row on Radio Disney!
I bet! What artists would you like to record a song with?
NICK: Definitely Stevie Wonder. He's my favorite, and that would be awesome for me.
KEVIN: I'd love to record a song with John Mayer.
JOE: I'd pick the Police. Definitely.
Well, they're reuniting for a tour this year, so, you never know, Joe! When is your upcoming tour going to kick off?
NICK: We're recording our record and we're planning to hit the road in the summer, and to have lots of dates and meet all the fans and see them and play shows and have fun. But now we're focused on finishing up this record and we're really excited about it.
What do you do to prepare before going onstage?
JOE: We do a lot of things. First of all, we pray together and we have a time to focus and get ready. We call it lockdown, and we have 45minutes where it's just us and no one comes in and no one goes out. It's a cool time to get focused and we just get psyched and really excited about the show.
What do you miss most while you're touring?
NICK: We miss our friends because we don't get to see them a lot while we're out on the road.

Y ahora estámos mucho mas involucrados con el proyecto que antes, y eso es muy bueno para nosotros. Tratamos de seguir haciendo música divertida.
¿Cómo viene su nuevo album? Va a estar a la venta el 7 de Agosto, no?
KEVIN: Está yendo muy bien. Tenemos 13 canciones pero grabamos 15 asique tenemos que acotarlo un poco. Ya queremos compartirlo con todo el mundo!
¿Cuál es la mejor parte de estar en un estudio?
KEVIN: Tocamos muchos instrumentos, pero salimos, levantamos I tunes, escuchamos otras canciones que nos gustaria considerar. Y hay una cancha de basketball alli asique jugamos un monton XD
¿Cómo fue la grabación de su single: "Kids of the future"?

Y, el video hizo su debút en Disney Channel la semana pasada! Esto da un adelanto de lo bueno que esta viniendo en el nuevo film animado, "La familia del Futuro". ¿Cómo fue la grabación del video?
NICK: Fue un video buenisimo para filmar. Nos divertimos muchisimo y ya no podíamos esperar más a que todo el mundo lo viera!
JOE: Estuvo bueno, porque lo grabamos todo en frente a una pantalla verde y después le agregaron las cosas futurísticas detras de nosotros.
¿Cuándo fue la primera vez que sintieron que ya habían logrado ser exitosos en el negocio de la música?
NICK: Seguimos todavía trabajando en eso y no nos sentimos "famosos". Es realmente importante el seguir siendo humilde y mantener el perfil bajo. Pero fue emocionante para nosotros cuando fuimos número uno tres semanas seguidas en Radio Disney!
Seguro! ¿Con qué artistas te gustaria grabar una canción?
NICK: Definitivamente, con Stevie Wonder. Es mi favorito, eso sería asombroso.
KEVIN: Me encantaría grabar una canción con John Mayer.
JOE: Yo eligiría a The Police. Definitivamente.
Bueno, ellos se van a volver a unir para un tour este año, asique nunca se sabe, Joe! ¿Cuándo va a comenzar su próximo tour?
NICK: Estamos grabando nuestro disco, y planeamos esmpezar la gira en el verano, tenemos muchas citas y tenemos que juntarnos con nuestras fans, verlos, tocar en shows. Pero ahora estamos enfocados en terminar el CD y estamos muy entusiasmados con eso.
¿Qué hacen para preparase antes de subir al escenario?
JOE: Hacemos varias cosas. Primero rezamos juntos y tenemos un tiempo para concentrarnos y estar listos. Lo llamamos -lockdown- y hay 45 minutos entre nosotros (solamente) y nadie entra ni nadie sale. Es muy bueno el concentrarse, porque ya estamos preparados y emocionados con el schow.
¿Qué es lo que más extrañan más cuando están en tour?
NICK: Extrañamos a nuestros amigos porque no los vemoss cuando nos vamos de gira.
